Never Lose Sight

I hate the fact that I haven't been consistent with writing for my blog lately. However I honestly haven't felt motivated or inspired enough to write. Sometimes there are so many different things going on that it is hard to stay focused. Since I'm a mommy September has been extremely hectic for me.
  • Back to school
  • Get both the kids and myself into a routine that will allow our mornings to run smoothly
  • Get up earlier to get the kids to school on time
  • Changes at work
All of the above has been a process, maybe it comes easy for some mothers, but it takes some getting used to for me. So far so good, I've had a few cases of running late here and there, but for the most part we (me and my boys) have made it work.

With all that and them some taking place, my blog was put on the back burner. Finally I decided to put a post up and then BAM! Some changes in the workplace....

Then I reminded myself that if I really want my blog to inspire others and be successful I have to keep going no matter what my day or week looks like. One thing I've learned from reading other success stories is that you have to keep pushing even when things change, even when your extremely busy, even when (and especially when) you just don't feel like it.

Easier said than done, right? This is true, but its important to keep in mind why you decided to take this journey (yes journey, because this essentially is what the road to success is.. a journey) For me I decided to set out for success because of my kids (not just because of them, but they are the main factor), and for most mothers on this journey with me I'm sure that is part of the reason for their decision as well.

With that being said it is important to never lose sight of why you are traveling on this road. And when you hit those bumps in the road (because you will), or you get tired along the way, because you don't see the fruits of your labor, think about why you are here doing what you are doing. Because that will help you to not lose sight of what you're striving for.
